Desktop and webRuns in the browser at vulture.gixts.com and as a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux with the same data model.
Local-first storageWith a local profile, your résumés and personal data stay on your device, with no cap beyond the device. An online account is free too: synced data is encrypted before it is stored, so you can use it on any device, within a storage allowance.
Free, and free without an account
The ATS check and the AI writing check run entirely inside your browser tab: the file is read, parsed and scored on your own machine, so there is no upload, no sign-up, no email and no copy of your résumé on any server. The builder, the job search, the tracker, the letters and the tools below are free too, on a local profile. A Pro plan exists for one reason: the AI models, web searches and scrapers we pay for on your behalf, for people who would rather not bring their own key.
Beyond the job hunt
Vulture started as a career app and kept going. These are full tools in their own right, and they are part of the same free app.
Inbox, with AI in itA real mail client for everyday email, not only applications. Ask the assistant to summarise a long thread, draft a reply, answer in your tone, or work through what arrived while you were away. Your mailbox, your rules, your model.
AI Console that does the workMore than a chat window: edit your résumé in place by asking for it, browse folders on your own machine, read and change files, and run coding tasks the way any API-connected coding agent would, with the model you chose.
Private browser with ad blockingA full browser inside the desktop app, in its own partitioned session: tabs, groups, pinned pages, find-in-page and extensions, with ads and trackers refused at the DNS layer through the resolver you pick. Fast, private, and usable as your everyday browser.
Email Help for anythingNot limited to job hunting. Apply, cold outreach, follow-up, thank-you, referral, or an ordinary email you have been putting off: drafted from your context in the tone, length and spelling you choose.
AI check for writersThe AI detector takes any text, not just a résumé. Content writers, students and editors use it to see which words and sentence habits mark a draft as generated, with a plainer alternative offered for each one.
Deep job scrapingAn opt-in scraper over public ATS APIs and the career pages you add yourself: one polite connection, long gaps, per-source cooldowns, persistent results and CSV export.
Bring your own AI
Add your own AI key, point Vulture at a model on your own machine, or use the built-in model that runs in the browser. Token usage is tracked per model so you can see the cost. How to set up your own key.
