VULTURE

Terms of use

Plain terms for using Vulture, the free app and the paid premium plan. Last updated 6 September 2026.

1. What Vulture is

Vulture is a résumé builder, ATS checker and job application tracker offered by Gixts Labs (Harsh Sharma, India) at vulture.gixts.com, as a web app, an installable web app and a desktop app. The core app is free and open source under the MIT licence. Online accounts and the premium plan are optional additions to it.

2. Accounts

A local profile lives on your device and needs no account. An online account is created by request or automatically when that is enabled, is tied to a username and an email address, and syncs encrypted data between your devices. Keep your password and passphrase to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Accounts may be suspended for abuse of the service or of other people.

3. Acceptable use

Use Vulture for your own job search and career work. Do not use it to scrape or contact people at a scale or in a way that breaks a site's terms or the law, to send unsolicited mail, to share or resell an account, or to attack the service. The scrapers run at a gentle pace on purpose; you are responsible for what you choose to scrape.

4. Premium

5. AI features

Text produced by AI models, whether your own model or a pro model through Vulture, is a draft for you to check. Scores, rankings and experience grades are estimates read from postings and your résumé. Vulture does not guarantee interviews, offers or the accuracy of any posting it finds.

6. Your content

Your résumés, applications, notes and messages are yours. Vulture claims no rights over them and uses them only to provide the service. Local data never leaves your device unless you sync it or export it.

7. Availability and liability

Vulture is provided as is. We aim to keep it running and to keep your synced data safe, and we take backups seriously, but the service may be interrupted and third-party sources may change without notice. To the extent the law allows, Gixts Labs is not liable for indirect losses, lost opportunities or data loss; our total liability for a paid plan is limited to what you paid for it.

8. Changes and law

These terms may change; the date at the top moves when they do, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Indian law applies, and disputes belong to the courts of India.
