About Vulture and Gixts Labs
Vulture is made by Gixts Labs. It is free and local-first: your résumés and applications stay on your device unless you choose to sync them.
Who makes it
Gixts Labs is the name under which Harsh Sharma (hrsraiden), an individual based in India, runs Vulture; it is not a registered company. It exists to help people around the globe tackle everyday problems with high-quality products that are free or low cost. Vulture is its career product; others cover fitness, PDFs, voice assistants and mental-health companions.
Why Vulture exists
Job hunting is a pile of disconnected chores: rewriting a résumé for every posting, guessing what an applicant tracking system will read, drafting cover letters, and remembering where each application stands. Vulture puts the whole loop in one place and lets you bring your own AI model, so the assistance is yours to control and nothing is sold on the side.
I started building Vulture to help a close friend land a job. They were juggling a dozen tabs, a spreadsheet and a résumé they kept rewriting, and I wanted the whole thing to be less frustrating, because there is already more than enough to worry about when you are looking for work. So everything around finding a job, handling a career and keeping track of it all is here, and it does not stop at the offer: the mail you answer every day, the browser you read in, the assistant you think out loud with. Free, and on your own machine.

More than a job app
What began as a career tool grew into a workspace. The ATS check and the AI writing check are free and need no account, and the AI check works on any text, which is why writers and students use it as much as job hunters do. Inside the app there is a full mail client with AI in it, so you can summarise a thread or draft a reply for any purpose, not only applications; an AI console that edits your résumé in place, browses folders on your machine and runs coding tasks like any API-connected agent; and a built-in browser with ad and tracker blocking at the DNS layer, private and fast enough to use as your everyday browser. See every feature.
