Vulture is free to use and is not open source. This page is the licence itself: what you may do with the application, and what stays reserved. Last updated 8 September 2026.
The short version
- Use it for anything you like, personal or commercial, at no charge.
- Install it on as many of your own machines as you want.
- The source is not published, and nothing here grants any right to it.
- Do not redistribute, resell or repackage the application.

What you may do
You may install, run and use Vulture for any purpose, personal or commercial, at no charge, subject to the terms of use presented in the application. Everything you create with it, your résumés, letters, notes and application records, is yours; this licence claims nothing over your own work.
What is reserved
Without prior written permission you may not copy, publish, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease or otherwise make the software or its source code available to others; modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works from it; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation; or remove or obscure any notice of ownership it carries.
Third-party components
Vulture includes components written by other people and distributed under their own licences. Those licences govern those components, and nothing on this page restricts the rights they grant you. Their notices travel with the software.
No warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Any score, assessment or suggestion it produces is information, not advice, and may be wrong. To the fullest extent permitted by law the copyright holder is not liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the software or its use.
